Are D-Schools the new B-Schools?

Past posts have discussed the importance of design-related disciplines in preparing people for roles in management. The Stanford Institute of Design may be the most high profile example of this trend. According to Reena Jana at BusinessWeek, now Cornell may be moving in that direction. Will the idea ever reach smaller public schools?
